US-based eCommerce intelligence specialist Fanplayr has made two appointments at its recently opened New York City office, in order to service and support its client base in North America.
Founded in 2011, Fanplayr has developed a cloud-based platform helping eCommerce sites to understand visitors' intent and deliver real-time, targeted messages and offers to specific segments. The firm employs 30 people worldwide; has a sales network in Europe, North America, Latin America and APAC; and has raised more than $8m in funding to date. In December, it opened a 'corporate hub' in Mexico City.
John Matzelle joins in NYC as Director of US Sales, after serving as Sales Director at digital-to-direct mail marketing platform PebblePost, and previously in sales roles at digital marketing solutions firm IgnitionOne, first-party data and services firm ALC, and social media marketing platform Kinetic. In addition, Emile Goldstein joins as Account Director, US Sales, following positions at mobile location platform Teemo and publisher Business Insider.
CEO Simon Yencken (pictured) comments: 'With current sales director Paul Fox on the West coast, and Matzelle and Goldstein on the East coast. Our New York team will support US clients and make sure they're capitalizing on potential sales in this remarkable business environment'.
